Mrs. Louise Chapman
WELCOME TO MRS. CHAPMAN'S SCIENCE AND MATH CLASSROOM---DIVE INTO LEARNING!!!!!!

My name is Louise Chapman. This begins my 29th year of teaching, all in Lexington School District 3.  I graduated from Saluda High School and Newberry College.  Many of my family members were in education, so it was a natural fit for me to become a teacher.  I live on an island at Lake Murray. I am married to Kenneth.  I have two daughters, Rebekah and Rachel.  Rebekah works at Class V Promotions. Rachel is married to Tony. She is a welder and they have two sons  Jackson and Cooper. (I love being a grandmother!!!)
I have played the piano at church for over 30 years.  I enjoy doing God's work, being with my family and friends, playing the piano, watching TV, reading, and traveling (when I get the chance).

Welcome and Class Rules
Welcome to third grade!  We will be learning many great things this year. If we work together, we will have a wonderful school year.

We use Positive Behavior and Intervention Support  as our school guidelines for behavior.
Be responsible
Live safely
Expect respect
Solve problems

Just as a lighthouse guides ships to their destination, I will strive to guide my students to find that inner light which will be the key to finding their destination for success.
